What’s gone right: Not much when the team is winless after going 8-3 the season before and advancing to the playoffs.
What’s gone wrong:
Replacing 16 seniors from last year’s team that scored 34 points in 11
games. This year’s team has scored just 72 in five games.
Remaining schedule: at Deshler, at Rogers, vs. East Lawrence, vs. Clements
Second-half outlook: The schedule may get a little easier in the second half.
Coach says:
“We’re playing a lot of kids that are new to football,” Sean Holt said.
“A lot of them are not ready for Friday nights. I expect to see
improvement in the second half of the season. Hopefully, the experience
for the younger kids pays off in the future.”
