READY TO RUMBLE?

Elkmont football travels to Ardmore tomorrow night to play our big rival, the Ardmore Tigers.  This is a much anticipated game each year.  Elkmont has caged the Tigers every year since 2009 and each game is hard hitting and hotly contested.  To help you get ready for tomorrow, here is the video from last year's game.  Click on video title to get to the game.

CHANNEL 19 ELKMONT FOOTBALL PREVIEW

The Red Devils are coming off one of the biggest upsets in school history when they defeated a 10-0 Hanceville squad in last year’s second round of the playoffs. That team had 13 seniors who accounted for 17 starting positions on offense and defense.

 In order for Elkmont to compete this year, they need solid performances from several inexperienced players. Head Coach Sean Holt has gone back to the fundamentals this August, but no matter how well his kids play at practice he knows things are different on Friday nights.

ARDMORE GAME DVD NOW AVAILABLE

The first game video of the 2011 season is now available.  The complete set of games will be available in December.  This is not a coach's film but a DVD with the fan in mind.  A few plays are missing or incomplete due to the camera person getting distracted.  Most of the dead time has been edited out so the DVD is about 35 minutes long.  All proceeds go to help with the "Boo At the Boss" Halloween activity.  Cost:  a big bag of candy or $5 to buy a big bag of candy.
