YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADER SIGNUPS

It's summertime and that means that football is just around the corner. Football and cheerleader signups for the fall youth season has started.

2016 SEASON
Age Groups:
*MICRO MINI 4-6 (NO WEIGHT LIMIT)
*MINI MIDGET 7-8  (NO WEIGHT LIMIT) 
*MIDGET 9-10 (NO WEIGHT LIMIT)
*PEEWEE 11-12 (NO WEIGHT LIMIT) 
*13 AND UNDER 
(WEIGHT UNDER 155 POUNDS DURING SEASON) 

Registration location will be at the Limestone County Water Authority Building 17218 US Highway 72 
*9 am until noon*
 (BE SURE TO BRING COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE)
*July 16, 23, and 30 
*Sign Up Fee is $65.00

Important Dates:
*Helmet ONLY practice starts August 1st
*FULL PAD practice starts August 8
*Jamboree will be August 27th
*First Game will be September 10th

BLEACHERS ARE READY FOR 2016 SEASON

Superintendent Dr. Tom Sisk updated the commissioners during Tuesday's  Limestone County Commission meeting on the school system's numerous ongoing building and renovation projects. 

ELKMONT NEWS
The future of the Elkmont football stadium, portions of which have been recently repaired after being deemed structurally unsound. “We plan to have everything in position so by the end of this football season, we'll begin whatever that (renovation) process will look like.”
