The Red Devils are coming off one of the biggest upsets in school history when they defeated a 10-0 Hanceville squad in last year’s second round of the playoffs. That team had 13 seniors who accounted for 17 starting positions on offense and defense.
In order for Elkmont to compete this year, they need solid performances from several inexperienced players. Head Coach Sean Holt has gone back to the fundamentals this August, but no matter how well his kids play at practice he knows things are different on Friday nights.
