The last Elkmont Youth Football SIGN-UPS (Ages 4-13) will be at the Elkmont School Open House, August 15th.  Jason Shawley and several of the other youth football coaches will be there to answer your questions and sign up your player or cheerleader for the 2013 season.  There is a $75 signup fee and a copy of birth certificate required. Fee covers uniform, equipment, and trophy at the end of season. IT'S GONNA BE A GREAT YEAR, YALL JOIN US!!!!

HELP NEEDED:
If anyone knows of any businesses or persons that would be willing to sponsor a football player this year that can't afford the Signup fee, please Jason Shawley. We have a handful of young men that love the game, but due to hardship the families can not pay the Signup fee.

Elkmont youth football program is looking forward to the beginning of the season.  We have had a good turnout for football signups but there is still room for more players and cheerleaders.  The Elkmont coaches are:
Micro mini head coach - Jason Shawley
Mini midget - Anthony Lawrence
Midget head coach - Bryan Hill
Still no peewee coach at this time
Head cheer coach for Elkmont is Lynsey Leslie

The Elkmont youth football coordinator is Jason Shawley.  He played football from a young age, and on into high school, as a nose guard and fullback throughout JV and Varsity.  Elkmont High School's Coach Wales was one of his coaches.  He graduated from Ardmore High School in 2004, and left for the United States Marine Corps, and enlisted for combat support.  Jason was off to Parris Island, SC for recruit training, graduated, and then to Camp LeJeune, NC for School of Infantry.  After graduation he was sent to the Marine Corps Detachment, Fort Bliss,TX.  While are Fort Bliss,  he specialized as a Low Altitude Air Defense (LAAD) Stinger Gunner.

After he was discharged honorably, Jason moved to Elkmont with his wife Becky Leigh.  He became a member of  the Limestone County Sheriffs Office after coming home as a Corrections Officer, and is now one of the patrol deputies.  Jason's wife, Becky Leigh is an Elkmont High graduate (and was a successful softball player there).  They have four awesome kids, Lorelei Faith 6, Gunnar Wyatt 4, Tucker Dale 2, and Alleigh Grace 10 months .
