Good Morning, I would like to invite everyone to come out to Boss Hill stadium at 6:40 tonight for the dedication ceremony of the new and improved Boss Hill stadium. Following the dedication ceremony, our very own Red Devils will host Addison.

There are some changes this year. We now will be charging $3 to park per vehicle on our campus and also in the city parking lot east of the stadium. We will only be charging parking for games when we do not play Limestone County schools. When we play other Limestone County opponents there will not be a fee to park.

Gold cards will expire October 1. You can go by the central office between the hours of nine and 11 on Tuesday and Thursdays and pay $10 to receive a new gold card. You will be required to sign in when you present your gold card at the gate.

General admission ticket prices remain six dollars, which is the same price as last year. Please wear yellow and orange in honor of Leah Siebert and Natalee Emerson.

Preview:

Elkmont faces a strong opponent to begin its season. Addison may only be a Class 1A program, but are one of the more successful small-school programs around, having gone undefeated in the regular season a year ago and advanced to the semifinals. Addison defeated Elkmont 28-0 in the season-opening game last season.

“Addison is ranked No. 6 in 1A in the preseason poll. They have a very deep tradition at Addison and have a good team coming back. It's a big challenge, but it's good to play this game and see how our team stacks up against that caliber of team. We've got another non-region game next week against our huge rival Ardmore. To have two games before opening up region play will help us see what we need to improve on. We'll get ourselves ready this week and next week and then open up region play against Lexington.”
