JUST NOT ENOUGH TIME

Led by Isaiah Sutherland, Elkmont's defense denied West Limestone in the red zone twice and held its explosive passing game to only six points.  But, despite gaining momentum throughout the game, the Red Devil offense could never put the ball in the endzone, resulting in a 6-0 loss to the Wildcats.

The game ended with Elkmont marching down the field, highlighted by Quarterback Masin Morris' long pass to tight end Josh Burrows, but time ran out before the Red Devils could put any points on the board.

Big men Benjamin Hanback and Jake Beddingfield were also defensive standouts for the Red Devils, with Jedidiah Sutherland adding his first interception of the season to the stat book.

The Pee Wees play next week against the Tanner Rattlers at 2:40 pm at Athens Middle School.

Elkmont Pee Wee football  fans can't wait to next Saturday.  Looking for football weather next weekend.
