OUTSIZED RED DEVILS LOSE TO CLEMENTS

The difference in age and experience was evident on Saturday when the Pee Wee team captains met at midfield and the Clements Colt captains were each over six feet tall.  Just as they had done the week before against Athens, the Red Devils allowed a bigger, faster team to score four touchdowns in the first half.  Elkmont once again played much stingier defense in the second half by allowing only one additional Clements' score. However, it was to late to change the game.

Masin Morris had several hard hits on defense and continued his consistent play on both sides of the ball, earning the Applebee's Player of the Week. Elkmont remains mired in the toughest part of its schedule, facing the East Limestone Indians at noon at Athens Middle School on Saturday.
